Continental Commercial Products Shaves Days off Budgeting with Host Budget from Host Analytics
ST LOUIS, MO. – July 31, 2007 —
Host Analytics, the on-demand leader in Corporate Performance Management software solutions, today announced that Continental Commercial Products, a diversified manufacturing company is using Host Budget to shave days off their budgeting process.
Prior to Host Analytics, Continental Commercial Products was using Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, and tracked all profit and loss information in various spreadsheets. Different geographic locations submitted their budget line items and corporate would consolidate. One of the issues CCP ran into was due to the large volume of data; the process of consolidating all of the various files would take hours instead of minutes to update all of the balances.
“Host Budget from Host Analytics has provided us with more flexibility as well as accuracy when preparing our annual budget or an interim forecast. It has also shaved days from our budgeting process,” said Diane Seers, manager of internal reporting, and treasury for CCP.
CCP is tracking sales, revenue, labor and typical operating expenses for each of their divisions. Seers went on to say “we’ve received positive feedback from each of our geographic locations that the system is easy to use and is saving the branches time”.
