Host Analytics won the “Best Business Building” award
by Tech-e-News
Host Analytics offers “Better, Cheaper, Faster” BPM solution
Host Analytics is one of a few established vendors world-wide that offer a robust application for a market called Business Performance Management (BPM), also called Corporate Performance Management (CPM).
“Business Performance Management (BPM) is a proven and accepted method of analyzing all areas of the business and providing financial transparency,” said Jim Eberlin, President of Host Analytics. “Additionally it helps organizations execute their plan and measure results of the strategy.”
The software is robust enough to be used by the largest of organizations and also inexpensive enough for the mid-market.
“Host Analytics main market is the small to medium sized businesses (SMB) which have revenues of $25 million to $500 million because of their need for robust BPM features and a lower price,” said Eberlin. “Usually a SMB does not care as much as multi-billion dollar companies about the name brand. But even large companies choose Host Analytics because it can do the job, get implemented quicker and is the best price.” Local Government is another market for Host Analytics’ products.
BPM consists of business processes that most organizations go through that help in achieving their goals. It includes budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidations, reporting, ad-hoc analysis, Sarbanes Oxley process improvement, and performance management.
Market experts say BPM is big and in demand. IDC, Gartner Group, Forrester Research, Ventana Research, ARC Advisory Group, BPMPartners, among others say that billions have been spent in BPM/CPM and they forecast strong growth, said Eberlin.
Host Analytics products are being used in companies like JPMorgan Chase and Procter & Gamble. JPMorgan Chase has been successful in using Host Analytics to budget their multi-billion dollar IT division.
The group within Procter & Gamble that implemented Host Analytics won the “Best Business Building” award, given by the President of P&G Western Europe, for their successful implementation. Several other large organizations use Host Analytics for their Budgeting, Financial Consolidations, Scorecards and Dashboards.
Host Analytics has created a very unique operational model and strategic focus that has dramatically differentiated Host’s offerings from the competition, he continued. This model sets the company apart from competition by offering the most robust features, frequent enhancements to the products, quicker implementations, better service levels, faster response times, and overall lower costs to the customers.
