The Host Analytics suite of Business Performance Management software enables local, state and federal agencies to improve their budgeting and planning processes. Each year government agencies prepare their budgets taking into account last year’s commitments and this years needs. Based on increased revenue projections, and decision packages for the coming year, the plan and budget are modified. Host Analytics enables government agencies to create a baseline budget and how different decision packages or new initiatives impact the baseline. Below is a brief list of the core functionality Host Analytics includes in its government module:
- Ability to clearly see the HR budget and track things like new positions, regulatory rate increases and performance grades.
- Ability to easily create budget presentations with detailed information on decision packages, HR and justifications for the board.
- Fund accounting – answers the question “how much money do we have and how do we best budget for it?”
- Long-term capital planning – we have x amount of machines that have a 20-year lifespan. Ability to build in the budget for repairs and maintenance for those assets.
- Ability to complete a two year budget quickly and make modifications in real-time as the environment changes.
